22 – 30 November 2020 – This is when all the trading will happen and other programs like Camel Races and other activities.
The Fair starts with a camel race there are other fun-filled activities like Camel and Horse Dance, Kabaddi match (local v/s visitors), turban tying, bride and groom competition for the tourists. This colourful fair comes to an end on the full moon night when hundred’s of pilgrims around the world come to take a dip in Pushkar Lake to remove their sins
Your colourful Pushkar Camel Fair Tour starts on your arrival in Delhi, where you will be welcomed at the airport by Custom Tours India Team. You will be escorted to your Air-Conditioned Car and introduced you to your Chauffeur who will be with you for your whole trip with us. You will then be assisted to check-in into the hotel, you can relax in the afternoon, settle down from your International Journey and get used to the hustle and bustle of Incredible India. If you are arriving early morning and wish to visit the city then it can discussed and we can change the same as per your timing.
You will be introduced to your Tour Guide who will take you to the guided tour of Delhi where you will see both Old and New Delhi sights – India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, President House, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Connaught Place; Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Later you will return back to Hotel and car and driver is at your disposal so he will be available if you wanted to have dinner outside (our suggestion for best restaurant in Delhi is INDIAN ACCENT but for that you need advance booking)
Continue your journey to the next destination AGRA, Which is three hours drive from Delhi. On your arrival in Agra Check-in into your hotel and have your lunch. Then you will be introduced to your Tour Guide in Agra who will take you to see the Agra Fort and in evening experience the Taj Mahal at the sunset it is said that marble of Taj Mahal changes colour i.e. Taj Mahal marble looks like orangish at the time of dusk and pinkish at the dawn. Later you will return back to Hotel and car and driver is at your disposal so he will be available if you wanted to have dinner outside (our suggestion for best restaurant in Agra is PINCH OF SPICE)
Early morning visit Taj Mahal with Tour Guide. Later back to hotel to have your breakfast and continue your trip to the final destination of your journey JAIPUR which is about four hours drive – with a choice of stopping enroute at FATEHPUR SIKRI which is Indo-Islamic masterpiece which was abandoned after Akbar’s Death and ABHANERI which is a small village where you will see the most beautiful step well of India also called Chand Baori.
Later driving to Jaipur, check-in into the hotel (our suggestion to stay at a Heritage Hotel). Evening at your leisure.
With an early start of the day, your Tour Guide will take you for the sightseeing where you will see the Hawa Mahal also called Palace of Winds gazing towards bazaar of Jaipur to the beautiful Amber Fort surrounded by the Hills where you can enjoy Elephant Ride to go up to the Fort to the City Palace which is still the house of the former Royal Family of Jaipur, Jantar Mantar also called the Royal Observatory. Later relax for sometime at your Hotel and if you wanted to have dinner then you can visit Chokhi Dhani (which is a Rajasthani theme based Restaurant with Rajasthani Music, Magician, Puppet Show, etc.)
After breakfast, depart for Pushkar, which is two hours drive – THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP – PUSHKAR FAIR. Pushkar is also an important pilgrimage spot for Hindus, which has the only temple of Lord Brahma in the world. En route visit Kishangarh to see the sculptures, idols and furniture made from the marble that Kishangarh is famous for. Upon arrival in Pushkar, check into your room and relax. After lunch, around midday, you will be taken via camel cart on a half day tour of the mela grounds, Pushkar town, the Lake and the Brahma Temple to watch the nightly Aarti.
Early morning, visit Savatri Point for sunrise and walk around the mela ground to see the morning activities. Later after breakfast relax for few hours at your hotel then whole day is at your leisure where you can watch this incredible fair that makes Rajasthan a colorful and cultural place. You can try participating is some of the activities in fair.
After breakfast visit the mela ground or you can either enjoy Hot Air Balloon Ride as well which is the most exhilarating way to see Pushkar during this colourful fair. Later walk around the different campsites to watch the activities – men smoking hookahs and pipes, everyone having chai, men grooming the camels, buyers inspecting the camels…the whole scene is spectacular and one that you won’t see many times in your life
After breakfast drive back to Jaipur to take flight back to home via Delhi. You can either drive back to Delhi and stay there for a night and then take flight to home.
Today your incredible and colourful tour comes to and end with beautiful memories as your chauffeur will be driving you to the airport to take flight back to home.
