Chail Wildlife Sanctuary
Chail Wildlife Sanctuary is less popular than other wildlife sanctuaries in India. It is situated on the outskirts of Chail overlooking Sutlej Valley. It is heaven for nature lovers and bird watchers. Sanctuary is famous for a variety of birds, flora and fauna and Himalayan animals. Other than experiencing wildlife, one can enjoy trekking as well. Small treks come to an end at Gaura River and Jhajjha in the park. March to July and from September to November is the best time to visit Chail Wildlife Sanctuary.
Chail Palace
This palace is the palace of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh (Maharaja of Patiala). It was built in 1891 and it is spread over 75 acres of land. It is located at an altitude, which offers a beautiful view of Shimla. The Palace is converted into the Luxury Heritage Hotel.
Gurudwara Sahib
It is a small Sikh shrine situated in Pandhawa Hillocks surrounded by beautiful scenic greenery. Its architecture resembles a church with a beautiful courtyard. It was renovated in 2007 and now managed by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
Kali Ka Tibba
Located on the top of hill and dedicated to goddess Kali, it is a must visit place in Chail which offers the amazing view of Shivalik and Choor Chandni peaks. It is best to visit this place during sunset. This place is the best spot for photographers.
