    Rani Ki Vav

    Rani Ki Vav is one of the most popular tourist places in Patan. It was built around 1050 AD by Rani Udayamati for her husband, King Bhimdev. This stepwell looks like a beautiful upside-down temple. It has seven levels and over 1500 amazing carvings, many of them showing Lord Vishnu. There is also a secret tunnel that was once used by kings to escape.

    Patan City Museum

    Modhera Sun Temple is about 35 km from Patan. This temple was built in 1026 AD by King Bhimdev I. It was designed so that sunlight falls directly on the idol of the Sun God. The temple has beautiful carvings and amazing stone work.

    Shri Panchasara Parshwanath Jain Temple

    Shri Panchasara Parshwanath Jain Temple is one of the oldest temples. It was built around 746 CE by King Vanraj Chavda. The temple has beautiful carvings and floors made of white marble. It also has a library with Jain books, some written in gold ink.
