Udupi Tour

This iconic religious center has a fine 13th-century Dravidian architecture with an honoured idol of Lord Krishna. One of the most common starting points on our Udupi sightseeing tours is for visitors to witness pooja or darshan (worship and a city view) and immerse themselves in this tranquil environment. Car Street, which remains the center of all those festivals that occur at regular intervals, and several smaller shrines are also part of the temple complex. The Udupi Experience is incomplete unless you partake of the Prasadam at the temple dining hall.

Malpe Beach

Kaup Beach and Lighthouse

Kaup Beach provides a peaceful escape and sweeping sea views from its historic lighthouse. Perched sentry-like above the Arabian Sea, this 100-foot lighthouse was built in 1901. For panoramic views guests can ascend to the top of it. It is also less crowded than other beaches and provides a nice, peaceful backdrop for some quiet time alone. When anchored between the skerries and with a low sun above, the lighthouse has fantastic light mist resting over it creating an almost magical atmosphere in the evenings.
