    Day 1: Arrival at IGI Airport, Delhi

    Upon arrival, a representative from Custom Tours India will meet you at the airport according to your flight arrival timings. Later, the person will introduce you to your air-conditioned car and drive with you throughout your Golden Triangle Tour Package.

    On reaching your hotel booked by Custom Tours India, you can complete the procedure of check-in’s and then spend your rest of the day at leisure. As you might be flying from a far distance so you may spend this day at your bed or by the pool.

    Day 2: Delhi Local Sightseeing

    This morning, after having your leisurely breakfast at the hotel we will proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of the city covering all the famous sightseeing places in Delhi. An English-speaking tour guide will accompany you for the full day who will explain the history of this city and the monuments.

    You will be taken to visit below mentioned tourist spots of the city.

    • Jama Masjid: Jama Masjid is one of the most frequent monuments which is visited by tourists. Jama Masjid was built by Mughals in 1644 in Old Delhi using marble and red sandstone. The mosque is built at an elevation of 10m which can accommodate 25,000 devotees at a time making it one of the largest mosques in India. You can have a splendid view of the local bazaars and surrounding area from the top of the mosque.

    Jama Masjid and old part of Delhi, is incomplete without the famous Rickshaw Ride in Old Delhi. This short rickshaw ride will take you inside the narrow alleys of Chandni Chawk where you can explore the local markets and day to day life of buyers and sellers.

    • Humayun’s Tomb: Humayun’s Tomb is one of the most beautiful monuments in Delhi which was built in 1560 by Haji Begam for her husband, Mughal Emperor Humayun. The tomb is surrounded by beautifully laid gardens, fountains and water channels which adds more charm to the monument. The lush green area with the backdrop of red sandstone and marble tomb provides one of the best places for photo lovers.
    • Raj Ghat and Gandhi Memorial: Raj Ghat is situated in the newer part of the city known as New Delhi alongside the holy river Yamuna. This monument is built in the loving memory of “Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi” who is popularly known as “Father of Nation”. The memorial is located in the middle of a huge garden with beautiful flower beds and water channels. Raj Ghat is the same place where Ghandhiji took his last breath and is one of the most important memorials in India.
    • Qutub Minar: Qutub Minar is one of the oldest monuments in Delhi Which was commissioned by Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak in 1192 AD and the building was later completed by his successors over the period of time. This minaret stands at a height of 73 feet which makes this historical monument India world’s tallest brick minaret. The main attraction of this monument other than the minaret is the “Iron Pillar” which was laid by Great Emperor Ashoka in the 4th century which still holds its charms and attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world.

    Rest of the evening is free for your own activities; you may ask the driver to take you outside to one of the famous restaurants of the city for dinner or you may visit one of the local markets in Delhi as this city is famous for shopping. You could consider visiting Khan Market, which is one of the expensive markets in Delhi.

    Day 3: Drive to Agra and Local Sightseeing

    This morning, have your leisurely breakfast and complete your check-out process. Today we will drive to your next destination which is Agra – The land of Taj. The drive will be for 3-hours which will provide you a glimpse of the farming state of India – Uttar Pradesh. You can see huge fields of rice, sugarcanes, wheat, etc. on both sides of the expressway.

    On arrival, check-in at your hotel booked by Custom Tours India and then rest for a while. Later, you will be taken to one of the popular restaurants in Agra where you can have a taste of local cuisines of this city of Taj.

    Following lunch, you will be taken for a half-day sightseeing tour of Agra .


    • Itmad-Ud-Daulah: One of the beautiful architectures of Agra, Itmad-Ud-Daulah was built by Mughal Empress Nur Jahan for her father Mirza Ghias Beg, who was one of the members of the royal court of Mughal Family. The monument was built in 1628 using white marble and semi-precious stone which are perfectly inlaid in the walls and ceiling of the inner monument. Also known as “Baby Taj” as a monument similar to Taj Mahal and local rumours say that the idea of Taj Mahal was taken from this monument.
    • Mehtab Bagh: Mehtab Bagh is one of the most beautiful gardens in India which were built by Mughal Emperor Babur during his rule. The garden is the perfect spot to take pictures of the Taj Mahal from the backside with the backdrop of the holy river Yamuna. The garden is beautifully laid with the lush green meadows, flower beds, water channels and fountains. The main attraction of this garden is the foundation of another Taj Mahal which was about to be built using black marble; however, Shah Jahan could not get it completed due to family issues.
     

    After these two monuments, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you can relax and spend the rest of your evening at leisure.

    Day 4: Taj Mahal and then Drive to Jaipur

    Early in the morning, you will be taken to visit the world-famous historical monument of India and one of the seven wonders of the world – The Taj Mahal.

    Today, you will be accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide who will take you through the history and stories about Taj Mahal and Agra Fort which are two main monuments of Agra.

    • Taj Mahal: Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his favourite wife – Mumtaz Mahal on the banks of River Yamuna. The monument is built using pure white marble which changes its colour according to the sun and took 20 years to complete with the help of 22,000 workers who were brought from all over the world. The monument is surrounded by lush green gardens, water channels, fountains and two red sandstone buildings on both sides where Muslim devotees come and worship on every Friday. The monument houses the tomb of both Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.
     

    Later, you can return back to your hotel for check-out and breakfast. Here, before leaving to your next destination city Jaipur, we will visit another historical monument of India that is:

    • Agra Fort: Agra fort is one of the most beautiful forts built during the rule of Mughals which is situated on the right bank of river Yamuna. The fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1573 using the red sandstone. However, the fort which you see today is mostly built by Shah Jahan, grandson of Akbar using the white marble. Agra fort is the best example to witness the rich heritage and architecture of Mughals. The main attraction of this fort is Sheesh Mahal, Khas Mahal, Jehangir Mahal and Pearl Mosque.
     

    Later, we will head towards Jaipur – “The Pink City” which is our last destination for the famous golden triangle tour package.

    En-route, we will take short break at one of the historic sites – Fatehpur Sikri, the place where Mughals live for nearly 10 years before moving to Agra.

    • Fatehpur Sikri: Fatehpur Sikri is a small town which is situated at a distance of 40 kms from Agra. This walled city was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the year 1572 when he came here in search of a Sufi saint Salim Chisti. Akbar worshipped the god and was blessed with a son later due to which Akbar constructed a beautiful fort here and a mosque dedicated to Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. The main attraction of this fort is the private palaces for Akbar’s three favourite wives and Akbar’s Bed.
     

    Later, continue your drive towards Jaipur which will be your last destination city of Golden Triangle tour package. This 4-hours’ drive will take you through various towns and villages of Rajasthan where you can see a glimpse of their rural culture and heritage.

    On reaching Jaipur, we will head directly towards your hotel booked by Custom Tours India for check-in. Rest of the evening you can spend by the pool or relax in your comfortable room.

    Day 5: Local sightseeing in Jaipur

    After your tasty breakfast at the hotel, we will head for the full-day sightseeing tour of this beautiful city which will be accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide. The tour guide will escort you to all the main monuments and tourist sights of Jaipur and will explain to you the history about this city and monuments.

    • Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal or the “Wind Palace” was specially built for the Royal Women so that they can come and see the daily life of the common people by sitting in the windows of this palace. The monument was constructed by Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799 and the main characteristic of this palace was that nobody could see inside the windows from outside due to the lattice work done on the outer shell of the windows. The monument has a total of 953 small windows which makes it one of a kind and well-known monument all over the world.
    • Jal Mahal – Jal Mahal or the “Water Palace” which is built over a man-made lake known as Mansagar Lake. This beautiful palace is a 5-storey building which is still under the possession of the royal family of Jaipur. The palace was built in the year 1745 which was used as a summer palace by the royal family. The palace has 3 floors above water level which have beautiful gardens, super luxurious rooms and balconies.
    • Amber Fort – One of the most popular and most visited forts in Jaipur and India which was built for the pleasure purpose by the royal family. This historical monument in India was built by Raja Man Singh I in the year 1592 with the mixture of Hindu and Mughal architecture which consists of precious and semi-precious stones, mirror and gold work over ceilings and walls. You will be amazed to see the royal quarters built for Kings and their queens.
     

    Later, we will continue our day tour to the next monument of the city. However, before this we will take a short stop at one of the famous restaurants of this city where you can have a taste of royal cuisines and spices of Rajasthan.

    • City Palace – Due to increase in population and decrease in water levels, Jai Singh II shifted his capital from Amber to Jaipur. This beautiful palace was built in the year 1732 which used to be the seat of power of the royal family. The palace was built beautifully using Rajput, Mughal and European style of architecture which makes this palace worth visiting. The main attraction of this palace is the museum built inside and the various painted gates which reflects the valour and royalty of Rajasthan’s rich culture and heritage.
    • Jantar Mantar –Well-known in the world as the home of world’s biggest sundial, Jantar Mantar was built by Jai Singh II in the year 1729 which has various man-made instruments using which we can calculate the time and positions of celestial bodies. These instruments are built using stones and brass using which we can also identify the astronomical positions with our naked eyes.
     

    Rest of the evening you may spend exploring one of the famous local bazaars as Jaipur is also known as shoppers’ paradise. You may opt to go for dinner or relax at your hotel.

    Day 6: Fly to Goa

    Early morning, check-out from the hotel and then we will head towards Jaipur International Airport from where you will board your flight to the next destination of this tour – Goa.

    You can ask your hotel staff to pack your breakfast which you may have either in your car or at the Airport.

    We have a direct flight from Jaipur to Goa which will take around 2 hours 10 minutes so here you may listen to some Bollywood songs, go through your pictures of Taj Mahal or other monuments or take a quick nap during the flight.

    Upon arrival, another representative will meet and greet you at the Goa Airport. Later, he will introduce you to your air-conditioned car and drive who will be with you till the end of this trip.

    Goa is well-known all around the globe for its beautiful beaches, amazing nightlife, authentic seafood and a number of heritage sites. Goa is greatly influenced by Portuguese culture as the city was invaded by them in 1510 and due to this you can feel the blend of Portuguese and Indian culture in the daily life of local people, building, lifestyle, festivals, churches and disintegrated forts.     Day 7: Exploring North Goa

    This morning have your leisurely breakfast at the hotel and then start your day with a short-day tour of North Goa by visiting famous churches, cafe’s, colonies and other sites to catch the glimpse of Portuguese culture and monuments.

    • Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception: This church is the most popular and one of the oldest chapels in Goa built in Portuguese baroque style in the year 1541. This church is famous for its bells which are the largest church bells in complete Goa.You can get one of the best views of sunrise and sunsets from here as the church is located on a hill.
    • Fontainhas: Fontainhas or “Little Fountain” are the oldest Latin quarters situated in the heart of Panji where you can see the buildings and homes influenced by Portuguese culture and traditions. You will love to walk in this area where you can see colourful houses with roofs built out of red tiles which are motivated by European streets. You may visit Chapel of St. Sebastian and Fonte Phoenix which are located in this locality.
    • Old Goa: Old Goa is the best place to see the glimpse of ancient Goa where you can see historic churches which were built during the Portuguese era. The building here is believed to be designed by renowned Portuguese and Italian architects. When you take a short walk in Old Goa you will come across beautiful cafes and bakeries influenced by Portuguese culture which are almost 100 years old.
    • Basilica of Bon Jesus: This 408 years old church is the oldest and most famous church in Goa built using baroque architecture. This church has been listed as a UNESCO heritage site as the outer structure of this church has not been plastered which still holds the authenticity of the church and Portuguese era. When you walk inside you will be amazed to see the marble floors inlaid by precious stones which makes it one of a kind and most beautiful church in Goa.
    • Aguada Fort: This 400 years old fort was built in 1612 in order to protect the Portuguese colonies from Dutch and Maratha invaders. The fort provides a magnificent view of the Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea. The main highlight of this fort is the 4-storey lighthouse that was used to track invaders in the dark and amazing view of the sunset. Along with this, the fort also has a tank which is the biggest fresh water reservoir in Asia.
     

    This sightseeing day tour will take approx. 4-5 hours in total following which you can come back to your hotel to spend leisure time by the pool or by relaxing at one of the beach shacks.

    Day 8: Exploring South Goa

    Enjoy your lovely morning at one of the finest hotels by the beach booked by Custom Tours India and then you will be taken to visit a less explored part of the city – South Goa where you will find beautiful and less crowded beaches.

    • Palolem Beach: One of the finest beaches in South Goa – Palolem Beach where you can see lush palm shaded trees with white sands, colourful beach huts and sun beds for relaxing. This beach is famous for silent beach disco parties after dusk. If you want to go for water activities then this beach is a must visit as we have the best water sports over here.
    • Agonda Beach: Amazing wooden beach huts makes this beach one of a kind and beautiful in its own way. You may stop by one of the bars and enjoy the cool breeze from the Arabian Sea. This beach is less crowded with a belt of lush green coconut and palm trees.
    • Mobor Beach: This is a long 30 kms strip situated at the delta of the river Sal which is one of the best beaches in Goa. To take some lovely and mesmerising photos of the sunrise. You can take a short walk at the shore and enjoy this lively beach with the huge coconut trees, blooming Lilies, white sand dunes and little ponds. Along with this, you can choose to sit by a cafe to enjoy the local Goa Sea food or choose to hire a cruise into the Arabian Sea to sight some dolphins.
     

    Rest of the day is free at leisure. You can choose to relax at your hotel or take a sun bath at one of the benches at the beach.

    Day 9: Day at Leisure

    This morning you may choose to relax at your hotel and indulge yourself with the activities present at your hotel. You may choose to visit the beaches to enjoy the shining sun and the cold breeze along with some chilled beer or local Goa food at one of the sea facing cafes.

    Day 10: Fly to Mumbai/Delhi and then back to Home

    This morning, have your leisurely breakfast and then check-out from the hotel. Later, our car and driver will escort you to the Goa Airport from where you can fly to major Air stations in India like Mumbai or Delhi and then fly back to your hometown.
